Default Can't delete automaition

In PT10, I have a session that I started from a template, and there was some left over volume automation on a master track. The template was made (in PT 10) from a PT 9 session.

I'm probably doing something stupid, but I can't delete the automation.

I highlight the automation, and right click --> cut special --> all automation and the highlighting goes away but the automation is still there?

The EXACT same thing is happening to me, however not on the master fader, on an audio track. The volume automation is at the very beginning of the session and when I highlite and press delete, it just stays there. Really frustrating, I really need to revise this mix.....any ideas?

Hmm, try making a new session on pt 10 not a converted pt 9 one. Then write some automation at and try deleting it. If it works that way, it could mean that there's a problem with automation in pt 10 from an other version.

There could be a stray breakpoint way down in the session. Try to use the numpad to make the selection:
  • press /
  • press 0
  • press /
  • press 99999
  • press Return
  • go to Edit (menu) > Clear special > All automation

Thanks for chiming in Emcha, however, mine is a session in PT9, I just replied earlier because it was curious that the same problem is encountered when opening a PT9 session in PT10.
