Default Session Tracks Disappear

I opened a session I only had on my backup drive. I opened the session and did some work.. I then saved it, to my normal play/record drive so I could stop opening it from the backup. Now, when I opened the session from my play/record drive, a couple of the tracks aren't there! It looks like there never was a track recorded. It's blank, like a new track that's just created. The name of the track is there, and in the region bin, it's listed there but grayed out? Could it be that those tracks were recorded to a different drive, and that the version in my backup drive was actually pulling info, maybe, from my C:drive say to open the song? Where could I go to view what info for each track is being displayed when I'm in an open session? This is weird. Thanks, Richrdc

That seems likely. You may be able to get a clue by looking at the session Disk allocation, or use the Pro Tools Workspace (browser). Last resort, use the Windows file search tool to try to locate the missing files. The most likely place is on the drive where the original copy if the session was before you did the save as.
