Default Neve re-issue pres.
Whats the company that makes those Neve re-issue pres,?? or nevesque pres. I know there're a couple but wich ones are closer to the real deal? and how much do they go for?? are they worh it?

Universal Audio Mic-pres

One is a Tube mic-pre (M610) 1 channel of 610 console ... also available as a two channel 2-610.

and the other is 2-108 ClassA transistor based on an 1108 ( born from the 1176 gain stage)

Both are Bill Putnam things.


I think the UA combo unit is a 610 followed by an 1176 comp.

There are lots of great sounding pres out there, while I really like the UA stuff it's pretty different than the Neve's that I'm used to. Brent Averill sells REAL Neve stuff, repackaged into rack mount units...Highly recommended.
