I renewed 4 weeks ago and haven't received the plugins yet. I was in contact with support who opened a case and told me that it was a known issue. Any news on this?

Just curious ... there are two exact looking versions for Win 18.1 and 18.8 for these plugins. What is the difference between the two versions (18.1 and 18.8) and is it necessary to download and install both? Also, are the two 18.8 Win downloads listed the same and does it matter which one we use?

Sorry for the confusion. Please just install the latest (18.8) version. We have duplicate installers listed in the downloads, e.g. Pro_Compressor_18_8_Win_104308.zip listed twice, so either one does the same thing. This has been reported so should get fixed soon.

There are 2 .zip files for Pro-Compressor & Pro-Limiter on my downloads page...

Pro_Limiter_18_8_Win_104296 & Pro-Limiter-18.1-Win
Why and which one(s) should I load (or do I need both?) on PT 2018.12
I am confused...

There are no "readme" files or anything to clarify...

Just grab the latest versions.

If you read the posts directly above yours it explains the issue. Clearly it hasn’t been rectified.

The problem with duplicate files was fixed (we had the same files listed twice).

We usually include the current (v18.8) and previous (v18.1) versions. You can just install the newest version provided here.

I'll ask the team to add the Plug-Ins Guide, but you can find it linked from avid.force.com/pkb/articles/User_Guide/Pro-Tools-Documentation.
