I was having this issue with PT 9.0.6 on OSX 10.7.3 and a 003.

Simply holding down N while starting Pro Tools allowed me to reselect the 003 as the audio device and I'm all good again.

Alright I just tried plugging in my guitar to my mbox mini 3g and it's not getting any signal. Also, its phantom power isn't working. Not sure if this helps shed some light on anything. I'm going to try installing the drivers on my macbook and plugging the interface into that and see if I get any life out of it. If it still doesn't work I'll have to buy an ASC and send it in

*EDIT*

My interface isnt responding to my macbook either. Can anyone tell me how I can get a warranty covered repair, my ASC expired, but I purchased it less than a year ago. I'm having trouble getting in contact with a live person without an active ASC.

Is it possible to get your self some adapters for the back of your computer and go straight into the computer using a mini jack (1/4" to mini)? That way while your mbox is being repaired you can still Rock on. Also, if it still doesn't work, it might rule out other things. I'm not sure you can do that, but that's what I would try.

Hi guys,

Is there a solution to this issue?

I have tried to find it...and did all software uninstall and install.

I have a mini mbox and a Mac (Snow Leopard 10.6.8).

The box stopped suddenly, and the light is blue...

THanks for your help,

Mariano

There doesn't seem to be any software solution to this, it looks like a hardware failure. You're probably gonna have to send it in for repair as well...
