Default Downgrade from G3/300 to G3/266 Can I expect any trouble?

My G3/300 Mix + may become a permanently portable PT flightcased system.

For the studio I can pull in a G3/266, to which I will add:Mix + core, Pro Control,Bit 3 Exp Chassis, USD, Dual monitor cards. Extra Mix farms. Data dat CDR, Multiple hot swap drives.Interfaces.

The 266 is a desktop model (128 meg)
Will there be trouble with this slight downgrade? 300 to 266 ???? (no zip drive on the 266) Ethernet still OK for Pro Control? OK for Midi & Pro Tools 5?

TIA

Jules

P.S. The flightcase was built for the tower G3/300, otherwise I would go for it the other way round.

the post was from October 1999
a G3 would have been a relevant machine

I don't know what happened and why, but there was a brief moment when I only saw this and several other 20th century posts, and I only figured it out after posting the response
