My understanding is that you'll get one iLok asset, so you'd have to take the ilok and move it to your laptop. Now, in the past, Digi has usually given two ilok licenses, one as a backup. Not sure with PT9 if this is still the case, I suppose maybe you could use that on a second iLok and it might do what you want.
Assuming they're still giving a backup license.
