OK...here is one of my hard won tricks:
Any (noticeably Sonic No Noise or WAVE X-Noise) do a very good job of removing Reverb if used inversely of what we usually do. When telling the software "what is noise" tell it that it is the audio you want to keep not the audio you want to remove as we usually do. Of course, all the controls now work inversely of what we expect but, this is not a bad thing. Adjust the controls to taste and notice what a real difference. I have even used this trick on legal clean up jobs to remove other more generic sounds (car engine sounds, other voices (yes silly as it seems other voices)
