As I said before I updated my protools to 2020.5 and thought that was the fix for me
.
But I have to say that in the idea of making as little unnecessary connections to the outside world as possible, it also check the box for "no" when asked for the anonymous reporting.

So it seems very plausible that that one has/had a problem.

I also thinks it's weird that a lot of people experienced it at the same time, but it does make sense.
I remember about 2 year ago I started in my studio in the morning my protools crashed, and at the same time I got a message from my friend that he had ths same issue. Apparently we both just missed a protools update that fixed the problem.....
