An update, as promised.
I have Win 7 (64) installed. PT8cs3 is working really nicely with all of the stock plugs and VIs.
I have also successfully installed Strike, Hybrid, Transfuser, Structure LE, RealStrat, Ozone 4, iZotope RX, Spectron and Melodyne Plugin.
Things that have not worked are Miroslav Philharmonik (7401 errors) and M-Tron Pro (Access Violation Errors). I'm not really that worried about these as they have had very limited use and I am sure that they will be sorted in the fullness of time.
My biggest disappointment is with m-audio. They have released public betas for most of their gear but still nothing for my Axiom Pro
. In fact this won't even function as a basic keyboard so I'm going to have to grab my old Novation ReMOTE SL until drivers are released for the Axiom Pro.
So...even though I haven't had 100% sucess, I am really delighted. Just as a side issue - I haven't disabled anything (WiFi, Aero, Slideshow Wallpaper) and I have also played around with several other apps running too.

All Software paid for & legal
