Re: "Be There" snare drum sound
Aw, I don't think it's such a bad tune -- you just get sick of it after listening to it 400 times while learning PT!
I'd say the things that make the snare sound good are:
the instrument
the player
mic placement
a little compression
and a good ear.
I guess those are the basics.
