If I understand correctly Michael, you prefer the processing of the sound created by your Avid D/A and Dolby A/D to the clean digital signal?

I take your point about BMD drivers and de-embedding, but that's the approach we need for MC [doesn't support 2 h/w devices at once] and I'm trying to avoid too many signal paths for switching purposes.
