As our Nation reels from the violence, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact of actual racism that runs that sadly runs so deep within our culture. The systemic racism we've grappled with for decades has roots in, of all things, science. The documentary film
"Human Zoos" produced by Discovery Institute does a great job exposing the role science played in fostering systemic racism in the US.
I was privileged to have composed and produced the music score for this documentary. I will tell you that when I received the original video segments, I found so much of shocking and horrifying, that I was literally trying to compose the music through tears! I hope some of you will take an hour to watch this moving story. And vow to never, ever let this continue!
