Hey, running fujitzu siemans c1020 laptop, XP. Ive installed pt 6.1 exactly as they say, and its not installing properly.
Im able to use the xbox for running nuendo and reason, but protools is failing to open when i click the icon - just a message saying that windows has to shut program down.
Also, im not able to change the laptop sounds hardware from the control panel. There is no option for the mbox, BUT it does say that the mbox is running well from the diognostic section!!!

Ive looked on this site for similar prolems, but cant find other answers.
Will have to keep using nuendo (which is probably less prone to problems anyway-who would have thought)!!
