Default Mac Tips + Tricks

I've seen a bunch of posts from people relatively new to Mac OS. There are tons of shortcut tricks and features to do with the Mac OS and if you get a handle on a few of them, you'll be whizzing through like nothin- Check out http://www.silentway.com/tips/mactips.html
This is not a spamming thing- you can receive regular Mac Tips newsletter by sending an email to [email protected]. and stop getting it if you want by sending an email to [email protected].
Here's a short little thing of my own: make a folder on desktop (command N). Name the folder appropriately. Put aliases of your apps in it (to make an alias just select the app icon and hit command M). Adjust the sizing of the folder if you want. Then put the folder all the way at the very bottom of the screen (as far as possible), open it, and go to view menu and select pop-up menu. Select also to view the icons as buttons. You can do this for a bunch of categories and have quick access to apps without cluttering the desk top. Later!
