Re: HDX-card, Radeon RX 580 8GB and power consumption
Searched this forum, but got more confused...
Some possible solutions I can think of:
1. Compatible graphics card that supports 3840x2160 that only needs one power cable.
2. Expansion chassis.
3. External power for the graphics card.
4. Share one of the connectors (PCIE AUX A or PCIE AUX B) if there is enough power for both cards.
5. eGPU (But I guess there is no way to install that on a MacPro5,1)
