A lovely freebie from our Irish friends, inspired, so we're told, by a quote from Matt Wallace taken from Sylvia Massy's excellent 'Recording Unhinged'

But seriously, you should have no idea of what frequency you are boosting or cutting. It doesn’t matter what number is. It matters how it sounds and how it feels. That’s it!”

A great idea, at least, I think so.

Of course, if you should happen to own any of Bx's SSL Console plugins, you should already be accustomed to using your ears because the numbers bare little relation to the actual frequencies...
