You guys appear to have turned this around - in the last few months, Pro Tools has become relevant again (from a functionality/cost value perspective) to many who thought they'd have to move on ... and not only are the features/regular releases starting to arrive (just in time!) but the development focus appears to be at least influenced by users (e.g. bigger buttons on | Control app).
I also sense that promotion of these (PT12.3 and subsequent) releases is prioritising those features you know everyone is waiting for i.e. track freeze. Whereas before, 'Everywhere' made it into every press release, its status as representing all these features under a wide-ranging collaboration banner appears to have diminished a bit. It may turn out that, as we all get used to commiting/freezing tracks and our Internet connectivity allows, the collaboration will actually follow (helps if Pro Tools has a sizeable user base obviously and the recent enhancements to 'vanilla' are key!) Maybe one day, Pro Tools users will find themselves connected through the application anyway and end up collaborating without even planning it?!
More and more people will be happy they are Pro Tools users today! :)

Thanks all - appreciate the positive feedback. I will pass along to the team,
