still i was thinking of people saying "this is garbage that was garbage" etc.. assuming they had issues with their versions due to some bugs or what ever that might have been..


As far as i'm concerned i never found a pro tools hd version that was a mess. My rule has always been if a big update comes out : clean install and never had any unsolved problem at all.
There was a time i was using the uninstaller but cannot remember till when.
With cs version it was a bit different as we could indeed install the new cs without reinstalling everything.


The only magor issues i had rather was with accel card serial numbers that might cause issues with other cards serials like the G series in a chassis.
