Just for your info this 4.0GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 4.2GHz processor will be actually the same for both models.
There is no difference in the GHz rate with the i7 Quad option for both of them. They only differ in GHz rate with their basic i5 processors.
The i7 will be exactly the same for both finally.
Means by choosing the i7 Quad option for your iMac (no matter which basic model) you get the most powerful processor for an iMac available
at the moment. There ainīt another more powerful processor for an iMac available at the moment than this 4.0GHz quad-core Intel Core i7.
