I got it to work! I googled around and found that others have had this problem (including some with Steinberg UR44). One suggested solution was to start Pro Tools 11 as administrator. I did that, and, although my audio interface still shows up as "emulated", it is now working. Thank you for your suggestions and help, everyone!
