How to Purchase the Pro Tools 5.1 Upgrade

• We anticipate that we will begin taking upgrade orders for Pro Tools 5.1 some time around February 15, 2001.
• You will be able to purchase an upgrade from any previous TDM version of Pro Tools to Pro Tools 5.1 for $295 (USD)
• For the first time, we will be offering Pro Tools 5.1 upgrades online from the DigiStore using our secure credit card transaction process.
• After you have completed your online transaction, you will be able to immediately download Pro Tools 5.1.
• Additionally, you will automatically receive your full backup package in the mail.
• Please allow 4 to 6 weeks from time of purchase to receive your backup in the early stages of this upgrade program.

  • If you purchased a Pro Tools|24, Pro Tools|24 MIX, or Pro Tools|24 MIXplus system on or after September 1, 2000, and have registered that system with us, we will automatically ship the update to 5.1 TDM to you free of charge. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks to receive your free shipment.
  • In addition, if you have provided us with your email address in your registration, we will email you with special instructions allowing you to also download your Pro Tools 5.1 update as soon as it is available.
