Well then we might guess that those codes indicate the drive does not like the media, but if I find out otherwise I'll post the results. I've contacted Yamaha, but it's sometimes difficult to get info on older drives.
Personally, I would advise against exceeding 74 minutes to minimize risk of problems in duplication or playback.
