The original download locations were not able to handle the enormous server loads that the initial download requests were placing on them. We have just completed the hosting of these files on several additional distributed servers, and the downloads will now all go through those. This has sped up the downloads considerably.
We apologize for the initial problems experienced between late yesterday and now. That's the reason we had not made an announcement on the DUC prior to now, or sent out the update notification emails to registered owners. Those emails will be going out tomorrow.

Now linked from our Downloads page and elsewhere on the site. The download links there will take you to the distributed worldwide server downloads. The Pro Tools M-Powered 7 downloads on that page are not demo versions, they are full installers for M-Powered 6.8 owners. (demo versions are listed farther down on that page)
While we can understand why someone might have wanted to help out and post this download elsewhere, distribution of the sofware without express legal permission is not allowed by the software license agreement.
Because of that, we will now be removing the links to outside downloads posted by well-intentioned users.
