So I would have my OS on any SSD because of low latency (no seek time) but any SSD will do, even "slow" SATA bay because OS does not need so much throughput and how often you boot anyway? (Before the recent 10.15.5 update my uptime was 45 days). The real question is whether your fastest SSD is fast enough for sample based virtual instruments and audio sessions at the same time. If not, most likely your OS and audio sessions can share same SSD (because OS needs low latency and session needs good throughput).
