Have you verified your RAM yet - by pulling/replacing/swapping it? Don't bother with a utility that tests it - they're virtually worthless.
What about testing from a new admin account?

Speakerphone is very troubled, that is true. I won't miss it for testing purposes! (Actually, based on my experiences with it I doubt I will ever upgrade it. Too bad, although it sounds good it cannot be reliably automated, which means that it is useless for efficient mixing.) RAM I bought 2 more gigs last month, so just for funzies I'll pull out the original RAM. (The pizza pauses happened before, that is one reason I increased RAM. Increase didn't help noticeably. I will try your suggestion) I suppose making a new admin account is worth a try. I've got another mix early next week and I'll try all these things at once. Thanks for your help.
