Things are a bit convoluted to me as well. My first install only gave me 1 kick sample and 1 snare sample
I went back to the drawing board:

Select your OS(I'm on Windows) and watch the video. I re-ran the installer and things looked the same. A bit of clicking around, I hit the Kits button(to the right of LIBRARY) and found a single(but complete) category called "01 Rock Kits" and under the KIT PRESET column, I see 3 kits listed and they sound essentially the same, but with differing amounts of ambience. In any case, the library shows as around 2GB on my samples drive. I'm going to experiment and dig some more and will report back if I make any important discovery
