Re: i7 Builds - Specs and Results
I'm in the the middle of a new build using the GIGABYTE GA-X79-UD3 LGA 2011 Intel X79, and Intel Core i7-3820 Sandy Bridge-E 3.6GHz.
The mid tower case I purchased has a USB3 connection on the top of the case. The cable from that connection actually has a USB3 connector on the end of it which does not mate with the USB3 9 pin connector on the motherboard.
Is there an adapter available, or do I have to put a 9 pin female connector on the end?
Is there a wiring diagram available showing the proper pin coneections?
