PT won't launch. New computer, new 003, new everything. I skipped the 7.4 install and went right to 8. When I go to launch 8, PT comes up, but when I choose a new file I get the spinning disk of death. At first it froze on the "config edit window" but now it freezes before anything gets started.
The computer started with 10.5.5, and I installed the 10.5.5 combo update.
Not having fun here.

Trash preferences, all Digidesign databases on all attached drives then run disk utility to verify and repair all drives then run the uninstall utility on the PT8 installer and then re-install program.
BTW where are you recording to?
