Hi,
LE 8.0.4 seemed to be working great! (Win XP home, 32bit) then I installed some of those routine 'windows security updates' and the first thing that seemed odd was I noticed was my internet browser was running slow and unpredictable.
Then LE8 started having serious issues.
Coincidence? I'm not sure.
I am now frequently getting while working in LE8:
Could not complete the exit command
Access violation unable to read 0x985D4424 at 0x7C910A1B
also,
MS Visual C++ runtime library:
Runtime error
This application has requested the runtime to terminate n an unusual way
also,
I get occasional access violation errors when trying to open some plug ins.
I re installed the 8.0.4 upgrade and it seemed to be a little better.
I cannot perform a system restore as I had restore switched off as recommended by most 'optimize your computer for audio production' web articles. I am sure that would fix this problem.
Does anyone ave any ideas as to what I can do? Should I tr a Windows re install....that's all I can think of at this point
