Since I'm basically a hobbyist keeping myself sane in this crazy world, over time, my rig has gottin' a bit old in the tooth. That said, I'm buying a new laptop and finding out that there aren't as many, if any at all, that have Firewire connections.. With the older setup, I've used 4 USB ports for mouse,harddrives,iLOK etc, along with the Firewire connection for my Project Mix I/O. The new computer I like has three USB ports so, my question is, my Project Mix I/O uses the Firewire connection to the computer. Has anyone ever used a hub I guess, that would include USB connections and a Firewire to a USB3 port?
