UAD 8.7.4s also works for UAD PCIe cards (Octo's in my case). However, the download isn't obvious to find. I selected the download for the Apollo 8P (which I do not have, I own a Mac Pro 2012), and installed it (unchecking the Apollo Software install) and it works great. UAD does in fact tell you this here in their notes.
