Pinnacle of PT stability still is a combination of OSX 10.6.8 and PT 8.1.1 and having these nice new features it is a great legacy for DigiDesign name.

PT9 was rebranded under Avid name, and while most appreciate PT opening to 3rd party interfaces there were so many problems not many remember it fondly. Then there was the transition platform called PT10, but after Apple went to "places" it seems Avid has been playing catch-up. I am hoping this Apple Silicon calms things down now, hopefully Avid releases native PT version soon.
