Hello All, sorry it took me a while to post this, been really busy, but here is the reply I received from Avid.

Hi Alex

Thanks for making contact with Avid Customer Care.
We are sorry for your inconvenience.
And also we are very sorry for our slow response.

We got the same kind of report from many customers recently
and looked into their .dlog files and found that
in most cases, the issue was caused by some 3rd party plugins including:

Magic AB
Waves plugins
Brainworx plugins
BlueCat Patchwork
Native Instrument plug-ins
and
UAD plug-ins.

Please Push + Hold "Shift" key and double-click on the specific session.
In this way, the session will launch with all the plug-ins inactive.
You can make each 3rd party plug-in one by one to see which one is causing this issue.

Sometimes the specific plugin needs to be removed from the plug-in folder to resolve the issue.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins

Please also try "import session data” without all the plug-in and settings.

If you cannot specify which plug-in is causing the issue and still gets the error.
Please send me a pro tools’ .dlog file.
