Re: PT11 + SPL Crimson + Win7 = any success?
...i contacted spl and they promised , within 2 weeks or so ,
a new , PT compatible , driver.....
sometimes it helped to reinitialize the driver (changing from crimson to asio4all and versa)
sometimes not , changing buffer size (only outside PT possible) helped sometimes
till the driver gets corrupted (clicks etc) again , maybe a rounding-error since
PT needs a multiple of 32 (64 , 128 , 256 etc.) as buffer-size , which the
spl driver doesnt exactly provide.... ( at least spl told me so)
Other then the software-issues it seems like a great product and spl is a company
with big reputation and good customer-service so i think its worth to wait for the new driver.
at least i know im not the only one.
Btw when i tried Guitar Rig in standalone mode with crimson , even with small buffer sizes ,
it seemed to work very well , so it seems PT related for me (buffer-sizes)
btw which buffer-sizes you tried with east-west in standalone mode?
