Here is what I miss in my memory:

  1. ARA2
  2. Solo follows the selection (see Cubase-Nuendo and Studio One)
  3. Improved solo function in playlists
  4. Smart solos (as solos midi or others including departures to)
  5. Move group markers (see all other daws)
  6. Allow multiple marker tracks
  7. Separate track views between editing and mixing (I want to see the AUX on the mixer, but not always in editing)
  8. Gather all midi functions in a general table (or window), with consistency and without drop-down menu
  9. Offer the possibility of some additional programmable keyboard shortcuts for the user (without destroying the universal base)
  10. Ability to integrate Sibelius as a partition editor
  11. Functional management of two or more screens on Windows
  12. 4k management
  13. Modern plug-ins manager
  14. Acceleration of the opening (see Cubase-Nuendo, Samplitude and Studio One, both times faster)
  15. And probably a dream: Possibility to buy options for Vanilla (such as the object edition). Some of the ultimate options are interesting for everyone, not related to Avid hardware.
