Come to think of it, Fractal's not the only one giving free updates. Line 6 have always given free firmware updates, either by mailing an Eprom (Flextone 1 and Pod) or by online update. Some of those updates added features as well. They did a free update for the M13 that added a bunch of effects, as well as fixing a few bugs. Hmmmm...  |
Therein lies the rub:
11R - £700
3 expansion packs - £255
(3 is probably the most we can hope for with this hardware revision)
That's getting into AxeFX Standard (with all its free updates) territory, which is a dangerous place to be with them all being sold off second hand at the moment.
