Re: Waves as DSP plugins on Ultimate 2018.04 HDX
I had an HD system with Waves TDM plugins and Waves stated publicly that they would write for AAX-DSP. So I upgraded to HDX only to find that Waves changed their minds.
I too have now moved on from Waves. Honestly, I'm still angry about it. I'm never giving them money for their own DSP. Never.
BTW- I invested in a lot of SoftTube plugins because of their AAX-DSP support and they have also recently announced that they will not be doing any more AAX-DSP, so I'm phasing them out as well.
McDSP, Sonnox, Metric Halo, PluginAlliance, SKNote all make great plugins.
