May work for you, did not work for me. I started using Processor Affinity a while back to solve crackling and popping after a Windows update. If I ran as admin, still got crackling and popping and PA was off, when I stopped doing that, PA was on and no crackling and popping. Could be that recent Windows updates has changed that behavior, but I'm not concerned because I've had no issues with not running as admin and now I can drag and drop to my timeline, which I couldn't do when running as admin. YMMV.
