panned vocals in mono
does anyone know to make panned vocals (hard left,hard right) sound good in mono? ive been listening to professional mixes and when i hear certain mixes in stereo i can hear the lead vocal down the center and doubled vocals panned left n right,and when i hear them in mono they sound just as good,but with my mixes they sound good in stereo but when i listen in mono they get phasy and sound cluttered in the mix does anyone have any tips n tricks to get panned vocals to sound good in mono?
