Thank you for your request.

As far as I can see you are indeed running legitimate versions of all our
products. I would suggest that you completely remove your Sampletank from
your PC, then download the newest version from our Tech Support page, User
Area. It is possible that older files are causing a problem.
In your ProTools, trying increasing the number of audio buffers in the DAE
settings, if this is set too low, some plugins can be unhappy.

So the paranoia you induced in me being some kind of rip off merchant was totally unfounded.......and I have no 'funky' plug ins at all. The zeros against their product does not represent a 'version' or 'valid' serial number at all.

It transpires that the problem may be my Fast Track Pro (USB 1.1) - and that upgrading to FT Ultra (2.0 USB) will rectify this problem altogether.....

And I got that advice without being accused of being a crook!!

So thanks again - for jumping to conclusions...
