I'm a little confused - video does still work in 2019.12 though, doesn't it? It just has to be a format not reliant on old quicktime wrappers/containers (like .mov files). I am running 2019.12 but under 10.14.6, not Catalina so perhaps the results are different... but converting existing videos to .MXF files using DNxHD 36 or 120 codecs is working
really smoothly here. Much smoother than anything .MP4 or H264 related.
I am kinda glad we are finally here!
