Re: New Mac Pro – 8core-16 gigs of RAM verse 6core-64gigs of RAM
I've been using my 6 core with 16GB of RAM for a few days now and it is extremely powerful. It plays my full in-the-box feature film mixes with lots of CPU to spare. I couldn't bring myself to make the price jump to an 8 core, so I'm happy to see that the 6 core is so capable. It beats my 2008 8 core by a good margin.
