Thanks for the clarification... I had looked on my similar mac for that snow leopard pace kext and did not see it so I assumed it was a something left over on your system. You can check /Library/Extensions and just try removing it, but I have no reason to know it’s a problem or if removing it might cause issues. I will check more when I am at my Mac.

(BTW did you use migration assistant?)
