Default Help with cutting/pasting vocal audio from an interview...

I posted this on the LE board too. I've got lots of experience editing music and vocal tracks on Pro Tools LE. But this is a new one. I've got to put together a slideshow for a philanthropic organization. I've got about an hour of audio from an interview that I need to cut and paste down to a five minute narration. The audio quality is excellent. It's a woman being interviewed at my home studio with a good mike and into Pro Tools.

The interview was transcribed and an editor put together a 5 min narration from the hour of audio. It will all be the same woman speaking. There will a significant amount of cutting and pasting of phrases and sentences and some individual transition words like "but" or "and". I did get a few minutes of room tone.

Anyone done something like this in Pro Tools? Any tips or tricks on getting seamless transitions between the many editing points?
Thanks.
