Hi--

I have two questions regarding the Pro Tools Midi Editor:

1. When I cut & paste any notes in the PT Midi Editor, it deletes any other notes as well as automation in that section. Is there a way to turn it off so that you can copy/paste and nothing gets deleted?

2. Can I record on top of an existing MIDI section without deleting what's already there? So say there's a part and I want to add one note--is there a way to press record and play on top of the existing notes without deletion?
