I've been working with Digi gear since the 90's and find that PT8 HD running on a fairly old MacPro serves me well for my work as a classical composer. Much as I would like to update to the latest Mac running the latest subscription-based PT update, I simply cannot afford to do so. I'm therefore stuck in the dark ages
