i'll give it a shot, but i've trashed the prefs before always with PT not running (I can't get it running at all!)...

i'm beginning to think that the problem may be OS 10.3.7? or possibly the other plugins that i run during protools sessions (IK multimedia studio bundle, and the digirack plugins for Live and Reason), do i need to trash any prefs for these files? basically i can't even launch pro tools, so i have to think that these are not effecting anything, but i don't really know. i'm getting desperate and will soon try reinstalling OS x, but only going as far as 10.2.4?
