Good book on tracking / recording technique?
I'm looking for a good book to read on recording technique. I say recording / tracking because I'm not so much interested in mixing techniques right now.
Is there an agreed upon "bible" of tracking... microphone positioning, room acoustics, gain structures, compression philosophy and implementation... everything related to getting the best sound possible?
