Also: The meters are really lagging on the iPad. This is nothing new, but is there a way to remedy this? They are just bothering me instead of helping me at this point. I have an old Ipad so that may be it. Or perhaps I need to connect it by wire instead?

The Eye mode is documented in the Guides, it allows you to program softkeys easier. The 16 keys under the tablet mount are now included in this feature.
If the meters are laggy on an iPad it can be one of two things, its a really old iPad or you have a slow network. Follow the help on this page first:
